Famous Vegetarians
Think Vegetarianism is just a passing fad? Think again! There are hundreds of famous vegetarians of the present and the past. Here's some very interesting insights into the world of vegetarian celebrities.
Lisa Edelstein
Rachel Berliner is a huge fan of the Hit TV show, House.
Lisa Edelstein began her professional acting career while studying theater at N.Y.U.'s Tisch School of the Arts.
Lisa gained her first television experience as a host on MTV’s “Awake on the Wild Side” and has been seen on many television shows since then. She has had recurring roles on “Seinfeld”, “The West Wing”, “The Practice”, “Felicity”, “Ally McBeal” and has lent her voice to many animated television shows.
Her latest and current is on one of Rachel Berliner’s favorite shows. She plays Dr. Lisa Cuddy, in the hit medical drama “House MD”.
So how did this busy woman make the choice to become a vegetarian? She told Prevention magazine, she was never a big meat eater, but once had a dream about eating chicken that turned into a sort of nightmare.
She said, “My brain was connecting muscle and bone to another animal. Once I had made that connection, it just wasn’t something I wanted to eat.”
Prevention magazine went on to report that Lisa loves cooking and enjoys cooking with broccoli, string beans and avocado.
One of her favorite dishes is lemongrass soup, something she says works similarly to chicken soup. We think she would love Amy’s Thai Coconut Soup.

Your Comments
Dear Amy's Kitchen,
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your gluten free, dairy free burrito. I am allergic to
wheat, corn, soy and dairy so you can imagine how hard it is for me to
find food I can eat that is not only healthy but delicious. I also
cannot tolerate spicy food but your product is seasoned perfectly.
Keep up the good work!
